At these high levels, we no longer work with emotion in the corrective, improving way of the Power zone. Consciousness gradually becomes transparent, vast, no longer stirred by outer objects.
If the levels below 200 are a state of being swept along (karmic force), and the levels 200–500 are a state of active creation (Ý Thức, Awareness), then from 540 upward carries an entirely different nature: Abiding (in Being).

A. Level 540 – Joy (Hoan hỷ): Joy without cause
Joy at level 540 is not the ego's elation at reaching a goal — that belongs to Level 125. This is a joy that is light, deep, and ever-present. The person at this level may still be busy with work, may still face great adversities of destiny, yet beneath every disturbance runs an unchanging stream of peace.
In Tử Vi, this is the peak state of the star Hỷ Thần steeped in concentration. Joy usually comes with natural gratitude and a remarkable capacity for healing. The presence of a person at level 540 can soothe the pain of the whole space around them.
B. Level 600 – Peace (An lạc): Radiant stillness
Peace appears when consciousness is no longer pulled about by the pairs of opposites. This is the state Buddhism calls "the undefiled mind." At level 600, one no longer "reads the chart" to predict the future, for to them future and present have merged into one within a boundless stillness.
Peace carries an intensely clear quality. You still see, still know, still meet the needs of life (Mệnh, the Given), but without any attachment to results. This is when the Dụng Thần becomes useless, because your entire being has itself become a perfectly self-balancing source of energy.
C. Level 700–1000 – Enlightenment (Giác Ngộ)
This is the domain of the great masters and sages. Hawkins describes it as the level of boundless compassion and a wisdom that penetrates the whole. At this level the individual self dissolves entirely, leaving only pure consciousness shining like the sun.
Why does this book focus on the band 20–500?
We must be honest with one another: the most practical journey for most of us is to travel from being swept along (karmic force) to actively taking responsibility (Ý Thức) and opening into service (the power of Nguyện).
The band 20–500 is the "design workshop" of destiny. It is where the great surgery of the soul takes place:
We learn to recognise shame and fear (below 200).
We train courage and reason (200–450).
We learn to love ourselves and to love others (500).
The higher levels (540+) are mentioned as a horizon — to remind us that human potential is boundless.
